Snow Day Writing Prompt

Hola Writers!  The air is heavy with floating crystals of half frozen ice, and the sidewalks are slush piles. Another Snow Day--a No School day!--is upon us.

Today's writing prompt:  Describe the perfect snow day, from beginning to end. 
 You can write one from memory or just let your imagination run wild! It's your Snow Day - try to give us (the readers) a clear, colorful picture of your  setting. Use the 5 senses in your writing.  What does the air smell like? What sounds do you hear? Can you taste anything?
